he could see how Jack's motives shifted after. Though just because he was
ready to let this happen to learn more about Jack, there was still guilt
there. After all, in his heart he was still married. Leaving hadn't meant
he stopped loving Veronica. Hell, in his head he still wondered if there
wasn't a future for them still. ...Maybe. If she could ever find it in her
to forgive him.
Though he knew Veronica wasn't the forgiving sort.
