He was never going to get used to this. It wasn't as if they spent all their time together, this was still new after all, but they spent enough time that waking up in Jack's fucking hobbit hole happened more than Logan liked.
"You need a real bed. And a real bedroom. ...And sheets that don't date back to World War One," he complained, rubbing his face as he sat up and turned on the light.

Date: 2020-02-26 06:44 am (UTC)Jack willingly followed. He was like a man under a spell- he couldn't stop touching Logan. It didn't matter where, he simply had to have his hands on him.

Date: 2020-02-26 11:25 pm (UTC)Logan was a bit clumsy as he tried to get them both onto the table, then laughed when it felt like it might give beneath them.
"See? This, this is why we need a real place," he insisted.

Date: 2020-02-26 11:33 pm (UTC)"Point taken," he chuckled. "We can get right on househunting...after a while."

Date: 2020-02-26 11:57 pm (UTC)"After a while? Why does that sound like Harkness for 'sometime after never'?" Logan asked with a snort. "Besides, I'm not fucking you on a table in the middle of the med bay, I just wanted to see if you were game," Logan smirked, pushing Jack away lightly. "I'm taking the company card and buying a new wardrobe. This all feels very billable. Meet me back at mine tonight?"

Date: 2020-02-27 12:00 am (UTC)Jack was fairly certain Logan was trying to kill him.
"Yeah, alright," he said, reluctantly backing off.

Date: 2020-02-27 12:05 am (UTC)Logan shot him some finger guns, looking exactly like the cocky teenage shit he'd been when they'd first met.
"Later Captain Prettyboy."
no subject
Date: 2020-02-27 12:12 am (UTC)Definitely trying to kill him.
With Logan gone, jack sat down with the scan results to see if there was anything out of the ordinary. He couldn't accept that it was simply random.

Date: 2020-02-27 12:26 am (UTC)Logan did exactly as he'd said, buying clothes that actually fit and dragging it all back to his flat- His stupid, boring, flat.
"God this place sucks," he said, pulling a face as he looked around. An hour later and he'd emptied his own bank account buying himself everything from a new gaming system to some wall art. Stupid things. Things his older self had known he didn't need.
Bored, he texted Jack.
Whatever you're doing it's not as fun as me

Date: 2020-02-27 12:31 am (UTC)Where are you?
Of course he could have tracked him, but that would mean going to a computer.
no subject
Date: 2020-02-27 12:56 am (UTC)Logan sent the text and then tossed the phone on the bed before heading out into the living room to play PUBG. Jack would either come or he wouldn't.

Date: 2020-02-27 02:19 am (UTC)Jack used his phone to get a trace, which, really, if he'd thought for a moment he could have figured it out.
He tidied up his mess of the day then headed out, stopping long enough to pick up pizza and beer.
Rather than text to prepare Logan, he just turned up with dinner.

Date: 2020-02-27 02:23 am (UTC)"It's open," Logan called to the knock at the door, certain it was Jack. He wasn't expecting anyone else. ...Hell, there wasn't really anyone else.

Date: 2020-02-27 02:29 am (UTC)Jack let himself in and smiled at Logan.
"Is there anything sexier than a hot guy showing up with pizza and beer?" he asked. "No. No there's not."

Date: 2020-02-27 02:33 am (UTC)Logan paused his game and got to his feet, grinning as he headed over.
"I mean, it makes my top ten..." he joked.
no subject
Date: 2020-02-27 02:34 am (UTC)"Top ten? Easily top three," he protested. "You want a plate or just eat it over the box like savages?"
no subject
Date: 2020-02-27 02:43 am (UTC)"Boxes- And top five, no higher," Logan grinned, leaning over and kissing Jack's cheek.
no subject
Date: 2020-02-27 02:45 am (UTC)"I am deeply, deeply wounded," Jack deadpanned, cracking a beer and passing it to Logan.
no subject
Date: 2020-02-27 02:47 am (UTC)"You love it," Logan grinned, taking the beer and knocking back a large swig.

Date: 2020-02-27 02:51 am (UTC)"Yeah, there's that," he laughed. He grabbed a slice, then leaned back against the counter.
"What all did you get? Decent clothes?" he asked.
no subject
Date: 2020-02-27 02:58 am (UTC)"I didn't buy too much, I didn't want to get told off. Just jeans and t-shirts. Thank god my shoes still fit, right?" Logan laughed, grabbing his own slice and smiling at Jack between bites. "What did you do this afternoon?"
no subject
Date: 2020-02-27 03:01 am (UTC)"I went over the data from the scanners and I did some follow up on the mist. You know, just work," he shrugged. As if he'd have been doing anything else.
no subject
Date: 2020-02-27 03:12 am (UTC)"Gross, real work. Makes me miss the island," Logan laughed. "Don't you miss sleeping in and getting stoned? ...God, I bet you don't. You're so responsible, with all that work ethic."
no subject
Date: 2020-02-27 03:21 am (UTC)"I do kind of miss it, but this is important work," he said. "I've been here since the beginning."
no subject
Date: 2020-02-27 03:42 am (UTC)"I know, it wasn't a dig, Jack," Logan promised, growing a bit more serious. "It's your thing- I respect that."
no subject
Date: 2020-02-27 03:45 am (UTC)"Good," he said, feeling just a little shy about showing Logan how genuinely passionate he was about Torchwood.
"You better," he continued, full of bravado. "Because the next time the world needs saving, it's on you."
